How it works (the basics):
- Find the ‘mic’ plug on your camera. Plug the microphone’s jack into it.
- Unwind the long cable (4 meters), run it from your smartphone, along the floor, up to your belt, then under your shirt or jacket, and clip it to your jacket’s lapel or t-shirt collar. Do the same for the other person.
- Start recording! Don’t forget to do a clap before start talking or interviewing. Great help with the syncronising of video and audio in editing process.
The (confusing) specifics of this microphone:
- Its omnidirectional condenser capsule captures the sound equally from all sides of the microphone. This design lends to effective, hands-free recording of speeches, interviews, dictations and more.
