Prompt-it™ - Where & How

Prompt-it™ is located on the beautiful Northern Beaches of Sydney, Australia. The Prompt-it™ idea was born in early 2009 as we were trying to find an affordable way to provide auto-cue for "Mr/Mrs Everybody".

We were frustrated with the huge price tags on all auto-cue & teleprompter devices. The cheap ones didn't include glass and required users to look "to the side" of the camera: definitely not good!

After months of trials and tests, we came up with Prompt-it™, and managed to keep the price reasonable, which was our main goal. Initial feedback was outstanding, everyone loved it!

So here it is finally: an auto-cue teleprompter product for the consumer market that will not break the bank. An absolute first, and we are proud of it.

As soon as the iPad was released, we modified our products and renamed them to Prompt-it™ Mini (for the iPhone) and Prompt-it™ Maxi (for the iPad). The iPad version (Prompt-it™ Maxi) was released within 3 weeks of the launch of the iPad in May 2010 and was an immediate success.

To date, we are proud to have sold hundreds of our products worldwide (Australia, UK, France, Germany, Japan, China, Malaysia, Vietnam, USA, Canada, Switzerland, Kazakstan, to name a few).

Prompt-it™ - Who

We are a dynamic, international, young & fit team, who love what we do. We are entrepreneurs with a passion, and constantly cooking up new ideas and seeking out business opportunities. Prompt-it™ is one of our products. We are also Video Producers and manage a successful Video Production House, as well as a Sydney-based consultancy firm.

Prompt-it™ - How can it be so inexpensive?

Well, quite simple really... we are not greedy. Rather than charge high prices and expect huge huge profits, we opted for a different model: keep the price low, and sell more. It appears to be working and we honestly hope it is helping everyone out there who is looking for an inexpensive teleprompter solution.

Prompt-it™ - What next?

We have received so many positive comments and suggestions that we are already looking at other types of teleprompters which will fit any displays, not just iPad or iPhone style devies. So we are not resting on our laurels. Exciting - and soon!!!
